The EMR3-S (TCD 2012 and TCD 2013) engine control unit is fitted with two sockets on the front side of the housing:
- lsocket D2.1 to connect the engine wiring loom,
- lsocket D2.2 to connect the vehicle wiring loom.
The EMR3-E (TCD 2015) engine control unit is fitted with three sockets on the upper side of the housing:
- lsocket D2.1 to connect the vehicle wiring loom,
- lsocket D2.2 to connect the engine wiring loom for sensors and actuators,
- lsocket D2.3 to connect the engine wiring loom for fuel metering unit and injection valves.
